Sunset at the J
Multi-Family Commercial Residence
A beachfront hotel/resort inspired by the Brutalist design of Harvard’s Peabody Terrace and shaped after the letter “J.” Its form wraps around a central courtyard, creating a strong communal core while maximizing ocean views. With its stacked balconies, raw geometry, and bold colors, the building reinterprets Brutalist principles for a tropical resort setting, balancing structure and symbolism with relaxation and recreation.

The Fibonacci Shell
Single Family Residential Home
The Golden Ratio is a sequence found in nature that symbolizes harmony, balance, and perfect proportions. It appears in
various natural forms, from shells and animals to hurricanes and even the universe itself. The goal was to use the
nautilus shell as inspiration, a shape that naturally follows the Golden Ratio, to create a harmonious and timeless design.
By incorporating design elements from iconic buildings like the Wimbledon House and Casa das Canoas, the intention
was to fuse natural proportions with architectural styles that emphasize elegance, balance, and enduring beauty
